5 Dead and 3 critically injured in a horrifying shooting incident in Corsicana, Texas. According to the reports, a gunman opened fire killing 4 people including a child. The suspect was identified by the police on Saturday as 41-year old Kevin Millazo, a local outlet Corsicana Daily Sun reported.
The deceased include the gunman’s family members including his 68-year-old step-father, William Mimms; his mother Connie Mimms,61; his 21-year-old son, Joshua Millazo; and his former girlfriend’s 4-year-old son Hunter Freeman.
Frost, Texas

The police responded to the crime scene in Corsicana which is 55 miles from Dallas. Shortly after, they responded to a shooting in the nearby town of Frost according to Daily Sun reports. Corsicana Police Chief Robert Johnson told the outlet that a man and a woman were shot and killed in Corsicana, while another man and a child were shot and killed in Frost. Two other people were wounded in the Corsicana shooting and one other was wounded in the Frost shooting, with all the victims currently in critical condition.
Milazzo was on a run after the shootings. The motive and reason for the killings were still unknown to the cops when they intercepted Millazo’s vehicle and shut off his engine. When the cops approached the vehicle, they found Millazo critically injured with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head and later died in the hospital due to the injury.
