Over the years, Cam Newton has made a name for himself on the biggest stage. Over time, he has appeared wearing rather unusual attires. While many people support him for who he is and what he does, what he has said recently would definitely gain mostly criticism only.
During a recent episode of the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Newton made a few comments about how women should behave and do. “I grew up in a three-parent household. My mom, my father, and my grandmother. And I knew what a woman was. Not a bad b*tch!” Newton claimed.
Cam Newton’s Words
When asked what’s the difference, he said, “A bad b*tch is a person who’s just, you know, ‘Girl I’m a bad b*tch, I’m doing this, I’m doing that.’ I look the part but I don’t act the part,” Newton stated. “There’s a lot of women who are bad b*tches. And I say b*tches in a way, not to degrade a woman but just to go off the aesthetic of what they deem is a boss chick,” he continued.
“Now a women for me is, handling your own but knowing how to cater to a man’s needs. Right? And I think a lot of times when you get that ascetic of ‘I’m a boss bitch, Imma this, Imma that.’ No baby! But you can’t cook. You don’t know when to be quiet!” he had stated.
Without a doubt, such comments are bound to attract criticism. Last season, he tried making a comeback but churned out disappointing performances for the Panthers. Meanwhile, making such comments will not do any good to his overall image at all.
