Daniil Medvedev is one of the biggest tennis stars in the current era. With Novak Djokovic already out of the tournament, he is the top seed in the competition and he sure has played like one.
Daniil started the competition in an empathic fashion and although he has been a part of a few close encounters, the man has shown extreme grit and determination which is why he has made his way into the finals of the Australian Open.
“Are you mad”: Daniil Medvedev lashes out at the chair umpire

However, when he took on Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas in the semis, unwanted drama ensued which grabbed everyone’s attention. Medvedev lashed out at the chair umpire reprimanding him over the fact that Stefanos was getting instructions from his father midgame.
“Are you mad? Can his father can talk every point? Are you stupid? Oh my God you are so bad. How can you be so bad in the semi-final of a grand slam? Look at me! I’m talking to you!” Medvedev said to the chair umpire.
Although Medvedev was not right as an outburst like this, especially on the chair umpire is not acceptable, Stefanos is someone who continuously gets instructions from his father midgame which is not allowed in tennis.
This can agitate even the best in the business which is exactly what transpired in the semis. Nevertheless, Medvedev ended the game on a high as he thrashed Tsitsipas to make his way into the finals where he will be up against Rafael Nadal.
