Emma Raducanu became a superstar in the world of tennis after she managed to win the 2021 US Open in emphatic style. Such was her dominance that she did not lose a single set in the entire tournament.

From qualifiers to title win, it was a dream journey for Raducanu. However, since the US Open ended, Raducanu hasn’t tasted much success on the court.

Tournament after tournament, Raducanu has failed to live up to the expectations. One can understand that she is yet to turn 20 and is in the early stages of her career, but after the US Open title win, it was evident that people will expect more from her.

Everyone thought that she might return to her US Open form in 2022 Australian Open but unfortunately, she was knocked out in just the second round.

Raducanu managed to win her first-round clash against Sloane Stephens. The Brit even bageled her in the opening set after which many tennis fans were convinced that Raducanu was back at her very best.

However, in the second-round game against Danka Kovinic, Raducanu struggled to score points. She did make a comeback in the second set after dropping the first, however, Danka gave no chance whatsoever to Raducanu in the final set and eventually emerged victorious.

Raducanu has a long and illustrious career in front of her. She has just started off and has a lot of potential. However, she needs to find her rhythm in order to get back in the reckoning.
