Nick Kyrgios, the man knows how to stay in the news. While Nick makes the news for a lot of controversial stuff, there is no denying that he is indeed a fantastic talent. Nick has achieved a lot in illustrious career.
This time around, at the Australian Open, Nick started off well. However, in singles, his journey was halted by Daniil Medvedev, the top seed in the tournament after Novak Djokovic was deported.

However, Nick didn’t stop after the singles loss. He partnered with Thanasi Kokkinakis for doubles and the two are doing exceedingly well. They have moved into the quarter-final of the tournament.
However, what happened in the Aussie duo’s second round clash has made a lot of headlines. The unseeded Australian duo faced off top seed Mektic and Pavic. Surprisingly, the top seed were knocked out and what transpired after that caught everybody’s attention.
Nick claimed that his opponent team threaten and fight him, “Just letting you know after yesterday’s chop fest in doubles my opponents coach and trainer proceeded to threaten to fight in the players gym. Tennis is a soft sport. All because I moved and hit them with a tennis ball,” Nick said.
Thankfully, the matter didn’t go out of hand and Kyrgios along with his partner is doing really well. With the local support with him, it will be interesting to see if Kyrgios win the Doubles Title.
