BREAKING: TOYOTA “Hilux” is all set to hit Indian roads soon.

Toyota “Hilux” is the world-famous truck is all set to arrive in India after winning the Dakar rally.

Hilux” was introduced in the 1960s, they are one of the famous well-known pick-up trucks all over the globe.

Hilux trucks don’t come up with a V6 version option, but with a Toyota badge up-front and a large loading bed in the rear. Well, this version is all set to bring more excitement and adventures to the driver and one who has a great interest in 4 wheelers. It would bring a rival to existing SUVs in India.

Hilux has few design cues. A large hexagonal grille, dual cab design, tapering headlamps and large 18-inch alloys provides it with a vigorous look and design.

Hilux truck comes with a 2.8 L diesel engine with 200 bhp power with 420 Nm of torque and 500 Nm if you go for an automatic engine.

It’s in comparison to mid-ranger trucks from Ford and Chevrolet pick-ups. These companies are a competition to Toyota all over the globe.

FIRST IN INDIA-

Toyota “Hilux” is the first-ever pick-up to be introduced in the Indian market. It has always looked for volume-based selling and marketing in India.

Toyota products would be locally assembled at “Toyota’s Bidadi plant” in Karnataka with 30% localisation.

Price and Launch date

Toyota “Hilux” is all set to be launched in March with a price of around 28 lakhs.

Hilux will be coming with electronic locks. it can run into the water with depths of 700mm. Traction control, tyre pressure monitoring system, brake assist, hill hold, 2 driving modes are Eco and Power.

With the introduction of this pick-up truck is surely gonna boost up truck sales in the Indian market, we are sure that share prices will further push up just before the 1st quarter of 2022.
