Where is Virat Kohli? Everyone is searching, according to reports he is reportedly missing.
It’s been 790 days now since we have seen the vintage Virat Kohli. What has happened to him? Where is our old “Run Machine”?
The standard set by Virat
Virat Kohli has yet to score a century now, for now, more than 2 years now. Today counts day 790 for him without a “century”.
Virat Kohli is now playing 2nd ODIs against South Africa and today was out for a “duck’.
It’s a dry spell for King Kohli in ODIs as well as Test. What’s going on with Virat Kohli? Is Virat mentally not prepared for games? Or is his exaggerated aggression which is not helping him coincide with his ego?
Well it’s not like he hasn’t been out of form, he has scored fifties in many matches but the standard Virat has set we are forced to say, he is not in his prime form.
Gave up Captaincy
Recently we saw his giving him shockers by stepping down from the captaincy. He said he wants to focus on batting more as his conflict of interests is adding a roadblock to his “great” form.
Time for change
Just now we saw India losing the bi-lateral series too, as India lost to South Africa in the must-win match. South Africa beat India by 7 wickets and there is just a game to go.
We expect a lot of changes in the next ODI on 23rd Jan. Its KL Rahul’s first series loss a captain in the absence of Rohit Sharma due to ” injury”.
Batting First India posted 287 on the boards with Rishabh Pant scoring 85(71) and captain Rahul scoring 55(79). South Africa chased down the target comfortably in 48.1 overs.
We gotta wait and see if India could turn around in the 3rd ODI.
